March--ing ...Onward and Upward

I downloaded the Instagram app on my phone recently...anything for the betterment of the craft, right?

...Like I have time for something additional to check and post to throughout the day.

Although, you can link your Instagram to your Facebook, I am trying a different approach.  Afterall, why have both if you are just going to post the same pictures to both social media sites...it's usually the same people following you on both anyway.  Redundant much?

I've opted to make my Instagram page completely separate and different from any posts I make on Facebook.  Not only that, but I am sticking to strictly black and white images with my Instagram posts...here's my home page thumbnails so far...

It's kinda fun...we'll see how long it lasts.

Guess I can add engagement photos to my portfolio as well.  Had the opportunity to take pictures for a fun-loving couple this month.  Got some pretty cute shots if I do say so myself.

  1. Oh fun! I'll find you over there. I do share some of my photos back to my business page (I try not to share all, with the exception of art images) simply to tease it and partly because I alone just don't create that much content. Also, I usually have separate people that follow me on each platform I'm on, but I still hear you - I dislike seeing the same thing over and over.
