There's no business like snow business!
I don't envy the snowplow drivers this time of year OR the postal carriers!
Some heavy snowfalls blanketed our area last winter. Weighing down our more fragile arborvitae to the point of no return, they had to be cut down this fall.
While we were in Colorado in September, we awoke to a bit of frozen precipitation on our last day there. It gave the trees a pretty sugar-frosted look.
I do like a little snow on the ground for the Christmas light displays to look like something out of a magazine, but I would rather not drive in the slippery white stuff month after month.
It seems like winter takes up close to half of the year. I'm really looking forward to becoming a snowbird someday soon :)
