De-tails on the ends of the kites were colorful and fluttered gracefully in the wind over Clear Lake.
Every February, a kite festival is held at the seawall in Clear Lake, Iowa. I have attended several years to photograph the event. Some years are sunny and bright, but last year, it was cloudy and snowing. It still made for some spectacular pictures.
Oh, I really love this one! I'm not quite sure why, I think the lines and the kites and... I don't know. :P I just like it!
ReplyDeleteOnce I discovered this winter kite event, I always try to attend. There is something so beautiful about the colorful kites against the snow white backdrop.
